Since 1975, the Musée du Bas-St-Laurent has had a double calling, that of regional contemporary art museum and ethnology museum in Bas-St-Laurent and Québec. Its program is extremely varied, presenting 8 to 12 exhibitions every year, half of which are produced locally. It also features a large documentation centre.
