Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier

Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury
Region:
Conservation park with a surface area of 670 km² (260 sq. mi.). Less than 30 minutes from downtown Québec City, Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier boasts a remarkable landscape characterized by contrasts. Mountainous uplands are broken by steep-sided valleys, the most spectacular of which - the Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier - features a crevasse over 550 m (1,800 ft.) deep, with a lovely river winding through it. In the forest, yellow birch rub shoulders with sugar maples and black spruce, inspiring a sense of peace. Come winter, the panorama loses none of its magnificence! Garbed in white, the park becomes a magical landscape that leaves you speechless.
