| Built in 1804, modelled after St.-Martin-in-the-Fields, in London, and still set behind a screen of trees, this church was the first Anglican cathedral built outside the British Isles. Some of its furnishings include the royal pew, the bishop's chair and the box pews made of oak from the Windsor royal forest. A number of the stained-glass windows date from the 19th century and the eight-bell carillon is said to be the oldest in Canada. | |||||||||
