Do the kids have energy to burn? Are they in need of a challenge? Take them in search of adventure! Walk, cycle or gallop over the innumerable pathways and trails criss-crossing Québec. Swing from tree to tree, climb the walls (literally) or go karting… Nothing can stop you now!

With Québec’s innumerable lakes and rivers, finding a choice spot for swimming, canoeing, kayaking or rafting is like… falling off a log! Or, in high summer, make a splash landing in a water park: a refreshingly fun way to beat the heat. Come on in—the water’s fine!

Winter is wonderful!

Winter in Québec fairly beckons with its unique array of activities, presenting endless opportunities to go out and play. Besides the ever-popular skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sliding and skating, there’s dogsledding, ice fishing and snowmobiling. And when it’s time to unwind, numerous wellness centres (spas) offer soothing treatments for the whole family.

DID YOU KNOW?

Québec winters are milder than they used to be! Years ago, they inspired this humorous limerick by Rudyard Kipling: There was a small boy of Quebec who was buried in snow to the neck. When they asked: – “Are you frizz?” He replied: – “Yes I is, But we don’t call this cold in Quebec.”
