Québec’s regions boast an impressive network of bicycle paths totalling more than 3,400 km (2,100 mi.). This makes it possible to visit several regions by bike, with the added option of staying in accommodations located close to bicycle paths. You’d prefer to travel as part of a group? Have your bags transported for you? Several tourist organizations offer group tours. Worth noting is Vélo Québec’s Le Grand Tour, which is held every summer and offers a new 700-km (435-mi.) circuit each season. The tour brings together some 2,000 cyclists in a relaxed and jovial environment.
