Member of the Canadian Hockey League, the largest junior hockey league in North America, the QMJHL has 11 teams in Quebec, three in New Brunswick, two in Nova Scotia, one in Prince Edward Island and one in the state of Maine (USA). Its players are considered the best in the 16- to 20-year age group.
