The Chutes Coulonge (Coulonge falls) feature a spectacular canyon. This site retells the history of the falls and the region. George Bryson, log driving baron and valley pioneer, built a wood slide the length of the canyon to circumvent the falls and channel the logs to the Ottawa River.
