Clock Tower Beach

© Claude Cormier et associésTake a break at the beach, right in the heart of Old Montréal! Silky sand, a boardwalk, colourful umbrellas and comfortable chairs give a real seaside-resort feel to the summer terrace found near the Clock Tower on the Quays of the Old Port. After a day of shopping and museum hopping, what better way to recharge your batteries than sitting back and watching the pleasure boaters speed by, hair blowing in the breeze? Enjoy a bite at La Buvette, run by chef Giovanni Apollo. The beach is modelled after the Paris Plages (Paris Beaches), an attraction that has returned to the City of Light every summer since 2002. Admission is free, and it will be open every day from June 21 to September 1. Welcome to Montréal-les-Bains!
