33rd edition of the Festival international de jazz de Montréal
Considered nationally and internationally as one of the world’s great festivals, the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal is returning for a 33rd consecutive edition.
In the heart of downtown Montréal, from June 28 to July 7, 2012, the biggest jazz event on the planet will deliver plenty of premieres and surprises. Famed artists and musicians will be performing at the Festival and, as is usual, memorable performances will highlight the event.

This year jazz fans will be entitled to a new indoor music program. The Festival has invited a host of artists from here and around the world to attract the general public.
Some of the biggest names in jazz have accepted an invitation to the
festival, including none other than Melody Gardot, Lorraine Desmarais, Seal, Norah Jones, Tangerine Dream, Liza Minelli, Al Stewart, Ron Carter, James Taylor, Patrick Watson, Adam Cohen, Johnny Clegg, Piers Faccini, Sophie Milman, Tord Gustavsen and Harry Manx.
It all kicks off on June 28 with RufusWainwright giving a free opening concert. Welcome to your Festival!
