Ice fishing here we come!

Sainte-Anne-de-la-PéradeThe Atlantic tomcod, also known as frostfish, is a seasonal treat, particularly in Sainte Anne de la Pérade. This year, this quaint riverside village will mark the 75th anniversary of the uniquely pleasurable pastime that is ice fishing for Atlantic tomcod. You, too, can join in the fun and festivities, from December 26, 2012 through mid-February 2013.

On the frozen waters of Rivière Sainte-Anne, with its especially high concentration of heated cabins, you can watch shows, cooking demonstrations and fireworks. Of course, you won't want to miss out on the main attraction: ice fishing, an activity that's great for people of all ages!
