The Image Mill
Québec City is bidding farewell to the Image Mill, a fantastic multimedia mega-projection that has delighted thousands of visitors over the past few years. First unveiled as part of the city's 400th anniversary celebrations, this colourful show has been running for six consecutive summers. It tells the story of the city and reflects the pride of its inhabitants, and has even earned a place in the Guinness World Records!
This year, in collaboration with the National Film Board, the content created by Ex Machina and Robert Lepage has been entirely reinvented and now features a tribute to the great Oscar-winning director and Canadian pioneer of animated film Normal McLaren. From June 23 to September 1, primarily from Tuesdays to Saturdays, the show will be projected on the giant screen formed by the silos of the Port of Québec, starting at 10:15 p.m. in June and July, and at 9:45 p.m. in August and September.
Also new this year, a second show will be presented to double the excitement! In one night, catch the Cirque du Soleil® show Les Chemins invisiblesTM, which has taken up residence at the Agora Port du Québec, before heading over to the silos to check out the Image Mill.
