In fact, the province has three major ski areas—the Laurentides, Québec City and its surroundings and the Eastern Townships—and its ski resorts have a combined 800 or so trails of all levels.

Many resorts, which offer excellent accommodations right at the foot of the slopes and packages that include meals, lessons and lift tickets, are located in holiday resorts known around the world. Among the most popular are the Mont-Tremblant and Mont-Saint-Sauveur resorts in the Laurentides, Mont Sainte Anne and Le Massif near Québec City and, last but certainly not least, the Orford, Bromont and Sutton resorts in the Eastern Townships.
