A new tourist attraction for Montréal in summer 2015

The Club Lounge Altitude 737, which closed its doors a year ago, offered one of the most stunning views of the city. Come June 2015, Montréalers and tourists will be able to enjoy a brand-new multimedia observatory that may also feature a powerful telescope. The new venue will include an upscale, 120-seat resto-lounge. Representing a multi-party investment, the observatory will be modelled after the Rockefeller Center’s Top of the Rock and the Empire State Building in New York City.

The location is particularly appealing given the panoramic view of the downtown core, Mount Royal and the St. Lawrence River, and the observatory’s two spacious, heated terraces will make taking in the scenery all the more enjoyable. Interactive screens will showcase everything Montréal has to offer. An entrance fee will apply and annual membership subscriptions will also be available
