Are you looking for original activities to replace those winter chills with thrills? Valcartier Vacation Village is the place to be for hours of fun and silly laughter with your friends or family. Try snow rafting, and zoom down the slopes in an inflatable raft. Or give the Tornado a whirl: it’s a jumbo inner tube equipped with a special mechanism that makes it spin all the way down to the bottom of the hill. Are heights and speed your game? You can choose from among 42 slides for tubes or crazy carpets. The highest is Everest, at 33 m (110 ft.). Excitement guaranteed!

The truly adventurous will opt for the Himalaya, a “high speed” launching ramp. Four steep slopes that are super-long and super-fast… with speeds up to 80 km/h (50 mph). Wow!

For relaxation, tamer winter activities are also offered. For instance, the Village is criss-crossed by a 2.5-km (1.55 mi.) network of skating paths that are lit up at night and equipped with a sound system. The icy route passes through a magnificent wooded area, plunging you into an enchanting atmosphere. The magic of winter, just 20 minutes from downtown Québec City!
