Children’s museum in Laval
A big-as-life museum for little ones
What’s the best way to rediscover the kid in you? A visit with your child to the Musée pour enfants de Laval. At this delightful children’s museum, you may ask yourself who’s having more fun, the parent or the child? The answer is: both.
This interactive museum gets parents involved in their children’s exploration of a space where they can become firemen, ambulance drivers, check-out clerks, astronauts and more! A warning to parents who don’t play along: your child, dressed as a police officer, might arrest you. But seeing parents and children laughing and having so much fun makes “going to jail” worthwhile.
Giant toys
The museum caters to the kinaesthetic sense of the child. Our motto is: "It's their museum; they can touch everything." Instead of a statue of a fireman, you’ll find a real helmet and a real fire truck. Instead of miniature cars, a racing car with a gas pump, a patrol car and an ambulance, as well as a life-size grocery, a classroom, a cafeteria, a veterinary clinic, a theatre, a rocket, etc. Welcome to the real world!
Perfect family weather
Rain or shine, come spend hours of fun at the Musée pour enfants de Laval. You can create your ideal weather in a television studio where budding meteorologists concoct their own live weather report. It's so much fun that you’ll never see raindrops on your children’s cheeks, just a sunny smile on their faces ... and yours
The magic of play
The imagination of children knows no bounds, and sometimes it reaches out and pulls us into their world. The Musée pour enfants de Laval is a continual exchange between the adult world (of work) and the world of childhood. Children put themselves in our place by playing at adult occupations. Let’s enter their world, too, and get involved! The resulting synergy will strengthen the ties between all ages and stages of life. Sylvain Lacoursière
