Québec's skiing "kindergarten," Mont Rigaud is the ideal family centre for all wishing to learn to ski or snowboard. Reopened in 1986, Mont Rigaud has 100% snowmaking coverage on its 9 runs, accessible via a quad chairlift, a T-bar and a magic carpet. Night skiing is also available. The ski school has 100 instructors. A snowboard park is available for the enjoyment of snowboarders. The station intends to pursue its primary objective of ski instruction, and plans are underway to improve some of the runs.
