The city of Murdochville mined a major copper deposit for 50 years. Then the winds of change blew into town... Now the Copper Interpretation Centre offers you a tour through an interactive exhibit featuring the world of copper. After taking in the exhibit, you'll slip into a pair of miner's coveralls, complete with a light-bearing helmet, and go underground into Miller Drift where you'll experience total darkness! Returning aboveground, you'll take a shuttle to the industrial site and, from there, discover one of Canada's largest wind farms.
