The wetlands of the sandbars of Saint-Fulgence are a fragile environment. They are home to a rich and remarkable variety of plants and 261 species of birds. Ornithology is a science accessible to everyone. Explore the fascinating world of birds in the company of a naturalist tour guide. You can follow four interpretation trails: bird garden trail (300 m)-EASY; marsh trail (1.5 km)-INTERMEDIATE; sandbar trail (footbridge) (750 m)-EASY and accessible to disabled persons; Cap des roches trail (900 m)-EASY, and includes nine enormous aviaries housing birds of prey recovering from injuries.
