A museum of history located in a magnificent, recently renovated residence built of granite and constructed in 1869 for the Colby family. Permanent exhibitions (furniture, costumes, paintings and fine works of art) on different lifestyles from the Victorian era. Victorian gardens open to visitors. Temporary exhibits discuss regional special interest themes.
