The building housing this museum was bequeathed to the Stanstead Historical Society by the Colby family. It is a magnificent neo-classical residence built in 1859. The furniture, fabrics, paintings and artwork testify to four generations of Colbys who once lived here. Come visit the residence's magnificent Victorian gardens. A tea room is open to the public.
