A museum of history located in a magnificent, recently restored residence built of granite in 1869 for the Colby family. Permanent exhibitions (furniture, costumes, paintings and decorative arts) on various lifestyles from the Victorian era. Victorian gardens open to visitors. Temporary exhibits discuss special themes of regional interest.
