Official wind energy interpretation site since 1988. Guided tours of the Le Nordais wind park include a trip inside the world's highest vertical-axis wind turbine. Interpretation, accessible to all, demonstrates and explains the equipment mechanisms and technological progress, the key elements in wind energy in an era of environmental concerns and activism. As part of its green mandate, Éole Cap Chat embraces the notions enshrined by the Kyoto agreement with a full awareness of its role and a sense of responsibility toward the planet, natural heritage and future generations.
