Since 1989, its mission has been to increase public awareness about mineralogy, specifically a giant vein of solid quartz and its fruit: quartz crystals. Guided tours, store, museum, concerts, workshops. An enchanting setting at an altitude of 400 m (1,300 ft.) in the Appalachian Mountains.
