| This theme site recreates the daily life of lumberjacks, and recounts the history of log floating and forest exploitation in Abitibi-Témiscamingue in the 1930s and 40s. You can visit the dry-docked T.E. Draper tugboat, one of the largest wood tugboats. Complete your visit with a tour of the Gédéon site, which features a rebuilt logging camp comprising five buildings and a forest trail, which recount the life of the loggers. | ||||||||||
