Let yourself be charmed by the Lamontagne House historic site! Marie-Agnès Lepage, daughter of the Seigneur of Rimouski, opens her home to visitors wishing to catch a glimpse of everyday life in New France. Built in 1744, the Lamontagne House is today a classified historic monument, whose stone-filled frame construction-highly common in the early days of the colony-is no longer in use today. The Lamontagne House represents an important chapter in Québec's architectural history. Guided tours, themed exhibitions, outdoor concerts, homemade breads, a gift store and picnic areas await!
