Old Prison of Trois-Rivières

Location: Trois-Rivières (Sector of Trois-Rivières)

Prison built in 1822 and classified as a historic monument. Before it closed in 1986, it was the oldest operating penitentiary in Canada. More than just a tour, a trip to the old prison is a foray into life "inside," brought to you by guides who were once inmates themselves a unique concept! The tour of the cells and dungeons is sure to astound. An experience brought to you by the Musée québécois de culture populaire.
