At the heart of the Mauricie region, in an almost mythical setting, Geos Spa Sacacomie redefines our concept of relaxation with its cutting-edge thermal station that is part of the world-famous hotel of the same name. The Geos Spa is the very first establishment of its kind in Canada. It takes its name from the Greek word geos, or "earth." Its 24 geothermic pools slip through the granite beneath to a depth of some 150 m (492 ft). This geos spa is located amidst a plush forest overlooking the impressive Lac Sacacomie, a lush, peaceful environment surrounded by valleys and mountains. |
