In the heart of the province, discover a small village where the past meets the present. This typical 19th-century village brings to life the period from 1810 to 1910. The Village québécois d'antan (old-time Québec village), a cultural, educational and tourist site charged with history, extends along the Saint-François river for two kilometres. Some 40 authentic buildings from central Québec and some 20 reproductions built by craftsmen can be found on one of the first lots colonized in Wendover county. These homes, which housed several generations of Quebecers, are typical of old-time Québec. Guides in period costumes explain the traditions and crafts of the time.
