The Lachine Canal path, the most popular in Canada, extends almost 14.5 km (7 mi.), from the Old Port of Montréal to Lachine. The Des Berges bike path, an exceptional and uninterrupted 21.7-km (13.5 mi.) stretch along the St. Lawrence River, promises unrestricted panoramas of Lac Saint-Louis and the impressive Lachine Rapids.
