| The Duchénier hunting and fishing reserve was established in 1977. With a surface area of 272 km2 (105 sq. mi.), it has the largest concentration of lakes, rivers and wetlands on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, with abundant wildlife and fish. There are 139 lakes, about 40 of which are commercially exploited. |
