The 2008 IIHF World Championship marks the first time the event has ever been held in Canada. Halifax will host 24 round-robin games. Thirty games will be played in Québec City, at Le Colisee Pepsi, including two quarter-finals, two semi-finals and the bronze and gold medal games. In 2008, the International Ice Hockey Federation celebrates its 100th anniversary. |
