Jurassic park

No, you won’t see T-Rex or the Velociraptors. In fact, what you’ll see at the interpretation centre is much, much older. A treasure trove of natural heritage, Parc national de Miguasha astonishes young and old alike, both for its exceptionally well-preserved fossils and their significance in evolutionary history. At 800 m2 (960 sq. yd.), it is the smallest of Québec’s national parks. Miguasha (from the Mi’kmaq word megoasag meaning “red cliff”) was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
