Sébastien’s yurt

Sébastien’s yurt

From Iran to Siberia, the yurt is Central Asia’s mobile home—and is doubtless the most essential element in the lives of the Mongolian nomads. In this family dwelling consisting of a single piece of fabric and a pole, there are beds and cupboards and even a dinner table. Vert et Mer offers up excursions to the Butte du vent, in the centre of Île de Cap-aux-Meules and also sells yurts. In putting them up and taking them down, Sébastien became such an adept that, when drawing up his manufacturing design, he was able to make some notable improvements.
