By bus

You can get to most of Québec’s cities and towns by bus. Intercity bus routes are offered by a few companies, among them: Orléans Express, Intercar and Limocar.

Available from May to December, the Rout-Pass intercity bus pass enables you to travel in Québec and Ontario via different bus companies for 7, 14 or 18 consecutive days.

The city transit and intercity transportation portal Espacebus.ca presents useful information on routes, fares, schedules and carriers, as well as on adapted and rural transit. Travel packages for various regions throughout Québec are also available.

Québec’s major cities are equipped with public transit service. Montréal is served by a subway system (the “métro”), buses and commuter trains.
