Since 1987, the Fondation de la faune du Québec (Québec wildlife foundation) has invested $44 million in nearly 4,000 wildlife projects aimed at conserving habitats and maintaining Québec's biodiversity, which in turn has generated investments to the tune of $170 million in cooperation with 1,000 partners.
