Since its founding in 1939, the NFB has built an impressive catalogue of over 13,000 productions and won over 5,000 awards - including 12 Oscars. The NFB's downtown Montréal showcase, the CinéRobothèque, offers unparalleled access to the board's outstanding collection (over 10,000 films available for viewing on-site). Numerous other film-related activities are offered, including workshops for everyone and hard-hitting documentaries with discussions.
