Société de musique contemporaine du Québec (SMCQ)

With concerts in Montréal, a youth program, the Montréal/New Music International Festival, the Homage Series, radio broadcasts, North American and European tours, a competition for composers and more than 20 full-length recordings, the SMCQ has, since its founding in 1966, been a fertile breeding ground for new works of art, commissions, and the masterful creation of contemporary music.
