The primary mandate of Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine is to bring together the archipelago's tourism businesses with an eye to increasing development and promotion. Members provide a range of tourist services and products, including different activities, retail trade, events and shows, culture and heritage, accommodation, nature and outdoor pursuits, hospitality services, regional delights, tourist services and transportation. In addition to providing tourist information to visitors, Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine also helps media and travel industry professionals promote the destination.
