Located inside a historic home on the banks of Rivière Richelieu, at the gateway to the Lac Saint-Pierre world biosphere reserve, the Sorel-Tracy regional tourism office is responsible for promoting tourist activities in the Pierre-De Saurel RCM. Visitors can stop by the picnic area to relax and take a look at the commemorative plaques detailing the history of the home and the aluminum fir tree representing the lighting of the very first Christmas tree in North America. Visitors can also access a museum or the bike path, which begins at the site's large parking lot.
