La Tuque's tourist information office is located in Parc des chutes de la Petite rivière Bostonnais, a picturesque setting at the gateway to the southern sector of the La Tuque agglomeration. The site boasts a 35-m (115-ft.) waterfall, an observation tower overlooking the Saint-Maurice, a host of interpretation centres on various themes-from renowned poet Félix Leclerc to the fur trade, nature, Anne Stillman McCormick (new) and the Rivière Saint Maurice (also new)-as well as forest interpretation trails. All the centres and trails feature educational leaflets. |
