Overlooking the St. Lawrence just an hour from Québec City sits a majestic peak: Le Massif de Charlevoix. It’s got the biggest vertical drop east of the Canadian Rockies, and it offers skiers and snowboarders a total of 53 ski trails and glade runs in a heavenly setting. It also boasts an abundant annual snowfall, is recognized as one of Canada’s premier powder ski destinations and offers thrilling vistas from the slopes, making it feel as through you’re skiing straight into the river!
Off-trail adventure
For expert skiers and adrenaline junkies, Le Massif offers close to 100 acres of skiing off the beaten track where you’re free to blaze your own trail.
Spine-tingling sledding
Enjoy the excitement of “rodeling”: a luge-like activity on a specially designed 7.5-km (4.7-mi.) track with a natural snow base. A one-of-a-kind sledding experience in North America that’s sure to thrill the youngsters—and awaken your inner child!
Riding the rails
A new way to experience the mountain: the winter rail cruise that takes you right to the base of the slopes. From there, hop in the gondola and head for the summit!
