The main goal of this non-profit organization is to build a recreational trail that will wind through every province and territory in Canada, linking hundreds of communities along its way. The target date for completion of the main trunk is the fall of 2017. A 1475 first phase in Québec is already completed at 90% and a second 700 km phase is on planning process. Trans Canada Trail is 70% completed and is a 21,500 km across the country.
