In 1875, a French entrepreneur built a luxurious mansion in the heart of Montréal. In 1950, part of the structure was converted to accommodate a banking institution and twenty years later, a section of the building became a hotel. Further changes were eminent and in October 2004, the entire site was shut down for complete renovation making way for a brand new hotel to emerge. The Hotel Montréal Centrale opened its doors in May 2005 offering a formidable array of thirty-five quality rooms ready to welcome visitors with great pride and a commitment to excellence.
