TOHU is one of the world's largest circus arts creation, training, distribution and production centres. Its mission comprises promoting Montréal as an international circus arts capital; actively participating in the rehabilitation of the Saint-Michel Environmental Complex (CESM); and helping to revitalize the Saint-Michel district. TOHU features a circular performance space where shows from all over the world are presented. It also serves as the CESM's welcome centre, and is an extraordinary example of green architecture, having earned the LEED Canada Gold certification. TOHU offers popular guided tours and many free activities and events, including shows, workshops, exhibitions and meetings.
