Musée de l'ardoise

Museum / historic site Region:Eastern Townships City : Richmond

This interpretation centre was built in an old church whose roof and steeple are made of slate. Its mission is to teach visitors about the local stone and the various methods used in its extraction, a pivotal activity in this region in the late 19th-century.
