New France Route

Route Region:Québec City and Area

This route runs west-east along route 360. It follows the path of one of the oldest thoroughfares in North America and is lined with homes that illustrate the influences of both the French and English cultures. Norman-style houses, with their low ceilings and sloping roofs, tell of the first inhabitants. The route sheds light on the region’s agricultural past and boasts a host of delicious local products along the way, available directly from the producers. Route length: 57 km (35 mi.).
