Spa getaways

With a delectable menu of body treatments—soothing therapeutic baths, massages, wraps and much more—Québec’s spas are your ticket to a brand-new you. Add healthy gourmet meals and time to relax, and you'll even have the time to appreciate your city or country setting.

Relaxation, peace of mind and rejuvenation: what’s not to like? Québec’s approach to health tourism, equal parts quality care and personalized service, is sure to melt away all your cares!

Thermal baths were all the rage in 19th-century Québec. The most popular hot springs were located in Saint-Léon-le-Grand (Mauricie), Varennes (Montérégie), Potton (Eastern Townships) and the Abenakis springs in Saint-François-du-Lac (Centre-du-Québec).

Awash with innumerable lakes and rivers, Québec is the obvious choice for invigorating water-based treatments—particularly Scandinavian-style Nordic baths that alternate hot and cold sensations. Some outdoor spas even feature views of waterfalls or herds of deer: an out-of-this world experience!
