Day 1

Let’s discover the Fjord

A visit to Petit-Saguenay

Day one starts at one of the region’s most beautiful beaches: Plage Saint-Étienne located at the Village-Vacances Petit-Saguenay. In the evening, we head to the Petit-Saguenay wharf to admire a romantic sunset.

Charming village and majestic park

To L'Anse-Saint-Jean

Ranked among the most beautiful villages in Québec, L’Anse-Saint-Jean charms visitors with its historic buildings and covered bridge turned art gallery. Organize an excursion in this incredible setting by bike, horseback, kayak or sailboat!

As we continue to explore the magnificent Fjord, we spend a day in the Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay. You can admire the Fjord’s breathtaking immensity whether you’re hiking, climbing the via ferrata or sea kayaking. There’s so much to see and do!

Day 3

A journey back in time and a dive into marine life

Site de la Nouvelle-France

The period buildings and costumed guides at the Site de la Nouvelle-France transport us back to the 17th century. In addition to revisiting the past, you can zip-line over the forest for more than a kilometre, which is sure to bring you back to reality!

The Musée du Fjord

Don’t miss the Musée du Fjord, a major tourist attraction in the Saguenay port village of La Baie! Activities, exhibitions, youth programs and multimedia experiences teach us a great deal about our rich marine ecosystem.

Spectacular landscape and scenery

Cruise the Fjord by shuttle boat

Chicoutimi: Cultural heritage and a lively city

Chicoutimi’s history museums

Chicoutimi’s must-see attractions include the indestructible Petite maison blanche museum, a stroll through the Parc du Bassin heritage site, and a journey back into the city’s industrial past at the La Pulperie de Chicoutimi regional museum.
