East Hereford
Backcountry skiing on Mount Hereford is an epic experience! At 864 metres high, the mountain offers two skiable slopes: the Trois Dames slope and the Piments slope, which skiers can reach with climbing skins or snowshoes. Accessible from the summit of Mount Hereford, the Trois Dames side offers 250 metres of vertical drop. The Piments slope, with a 200-meter vertical drop, is accessible from the parking lot. It can be skied repeatedly using the ascent trail, or after the Trois Dames by following the access trail over a three-kilometre plateau to the Piments slope, for a total vertical drop of 450 metres.
