Sentiers du Banc-de-Sable / Vélo de montagne

The Banc-de-Sable de Métabetchouan-Lac-à-la-Croix trails have been developed on this 60-hectare woodland. The network is made up of easy-to-intermediate trails.
Many of the trails are very winding, offering a very interesting challenge for both experts and beginners. The gradient is low, but the trails make the most of the rugged terrain. The short, fast climbs and descents are exhilarating and numerous.
As the soil on these trails is mostly sand, drainage is exceptional and you can ride them even after heavy rain, without a trace of mud. The area is a favorite with local cyclists.
