In Québec, we definitely get a thrill out of ice skating and sliding!

Twirling on skates or hurtling down snowy slopes on an inflated tube brings out the child in us. And who wouldn’t be filled with wonder upon crossing a deer on a forest skating path or when a huge illuminated wheel lights your way as you skate along? Over 40 sliding centres offer up exciting moments. As for skating rinks, they can be found everywhere!

Seasons

From mid-December to mid-March, you’ll find us practising our triple axels or sliding down our snow-covered mountains.

Did you know?

The Domaine de la forêt perdue offers a 10 km frozen forest trail.

On ice or snow?

  • Skating is in our DNA. Whether it’s on a frozen lake, a city skating rink lit up with multi-coloured lights, or a forest trail, we’re always keen to get outdoors and do some twirls or face off in a hockey match!

  • Speeding down the snow-covered slopes on an inner tube or snow raft is an unforgettable experience. With runs boasting names like Everest, Himalaya, Avalanche, Tornado, the thrills are guaranteed, for both the young and young-at-heart. Hold on to your hat!
