Côté Est, Kamouraska
Next stop: Côté Est, a gourmet address—also a member of Terroir et Saveurs du Québec—which pays homage to the culinary roots, know-how and local produce of Kamouraska. Take a tour of Espace Découverte. For anyone with an epicurian taste, this is a great opportunity to discover the regional culinary history, as well as the producers who shape it, by taking part in guided tasting and interpretation activities (schedule varies depending on the season). Don’t miss this meeting with artisans at work just a few steps from the Kamouraska sandbank!
Domaine Vallier Robert (Domaine Acer), Auclair
Leave Route 132 to detour to Témiscouata. Domaine Vallier Robert—formerly known as Domaine Acer—invites you to discover products that showcase maple. In this maple syrup ÉCONOMUSÉE® taste alcoholic beverages in the presence of passionate people who will explain to you how they transform maple sap into these exceptional maple wines. What is an ÉCONOMUSÉE®?

Restaurant de l’auberge Le Mange-Grenouille, Rimouski
In the Bic region, the table du Mange-Grenouille emphasizes conviviality and hospitality. The menu, which is intended as an ode to the Bas-Saint-Laurent, evolves according to the seasonality of the ingredients. The new owners of the establishment, which has been rooted in the community for over 30 years, are banking on a close relationship with local producers to offer their guests eclectic cuisine with a local accent.
Gaspésie
Projet La Ruche, Baie-des-Sables
Are you dreaming of a cottage far from the crowds and hustle and bustle, where you can swap the buzz of the city for the sound of bees? Both an inn and a country restaurant Projet La Ruche offers you a complete immersion in the region's agroforestry landscape. Here, farm-to-table cuisine is served: on your plate, you'll find seasonal ingredients from the farm and the large garden that overlooks your room window. The company, which is part of the Terroir et Saveurs du Québec network, also favours short supply chains to introduce visitors to local products.
Couleur Chocolat, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts
L’ÉCONOMUSÉE du chocolatier® delights gourmet souls who stop off between the sea and the mountains in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. Through the large windows that separate the workshop from the boutique, you can observe these artisans who oversee the production of small chocolate treats. The Gaspé company stands out for its commitment to sustainable tourism; in particular, it is one of the first companies to have been certified by GreenStep of Tourisme durable Québec.
Oh les pains, Gaspé
Within the walls of Oh les pains, we are betting on doing things differently. This bakery located in the heart of the Gaspé promotes the circular economy by giving a second life to the “waste” of neighbouring businesses. This is how the spent grain from the local microbrewery is transformed into a tasty beer bread. The young company, a member of Terroir et Saveurs du Québec, also makes it a point to create an inclusive workplace by hiring employees from diverse backgrounds. It has become a warm meeting point for both locals and visitors.
Le Nordet, Percé
The adventure on the peninsula continues in Percé, where Le Nordet offers lodging, in addition to numerous recreational tourism activities. On site, enjoy the Nordic spa facilities or explore the Gaspé Peninsula by sea kayak with adventure guides.
Good to know: the establishment has its own outdoor school. As a side note, this former motel has been revitalized and transformed, one room at a time, into an eco-friendly accommodation and dining space. Regional flavours, locally sourced materials, more sustainable hotel practices: all the ingredients are there!
